Adepta Sororitas
The Imperial forces in Warhammer 40,000 have many special units, fanatical squads, and ordinary soldiers. The Adepta Sororitas – also known as the Sisters of Battle – is a fanatical group composed strictly of female warriors fighting for the Emperor. Their strength lies especially in close combat. With bolters, flame, or melta weapons, mutants, heretics, and traitors are purged of the sin of their very existence. So it has been for five millennia, and so it shall be until the end of time.
