Adeptus Custodes

The Imperial forces in Warhammer 40,000 have many special units, fanatical squads, and ordinary soldiers. The Adeptus Custodes are the elite personal guard of the Emperor himself, receiving the highest honors and prestige for their service. Although they possess significant firepower, they excel particularly in close combat, which they support with their endurance. These men are my bodyguards, and their lives are dedicated to ensuring my safety. There will be no doubt about their loyalty to me. I alone will have the authority to judge them. They will have no other commander in battle or in service. No one will stand in my way, and no one will hinder or delay their mission. So it is decreed!
